Field Sales Agent, Medicare Advantage
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and insurance - mileage reimbursement provided
  • Valid Producer license to sell Medicare product
  • Bilingual preferred, not required


SUMMARY:

Responsible for selling activities related to new business development, home appointments, group presentations, and provider/community collaboration for Medicare-related products.

Responsibilities:
  • Achieve Medicare Advantage monthly assigned sales goal through company provided and self-generated leads
  • Responsible for developing self-generated lead volume to account for 75% of total lead volume
  • Self-generated sales should account for 90% of total sales volume
  • Meet or exceed sales quotas, compliance requirements, and department/manager expectations
  • Develop existing Provider and Community relationships to increase self-generated referrals
  • Identify new provider and community center referral opportunities by collaborating with internal provider/network resources
  • Conduct advertised sales presentations for prospects and leverage community partnerships to host events
  • Create a lead pipeline from physician patient base through physician partnerships and Network Operations
  • Meet with prospects who have responded to CHS marketing campaigns or referrals and requested appointments
  • Attend sales training and department meetings
  • Focus on close ratio and lead pipeline, maintaining CRM updates appropriately in Salesforce
  • Leads, collaborates and develops provider and community relations activities including event planning, execution, and ROI/outcome tracking
  • Consistently perform appropriate sales activity standards as directed by their manager
  • Manages allocated budget for sales events, sponsorship activities, and key community events
  • Maintain knowledge of compliance regulatory procedures and Medicare Marketing Guidelines to utilize in all functions, processes, and communication


Qualifications:
  • Active Arkansas Life & Health Insurance License
  • 3 or more years' experience selling Medicare or Healthcare related plans, required
  • College degree, or 4 or more years of insurance sales experience in lieu of degree, preferred
  • Strong time management and phone blocking skills
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to present to an individual or group
  • Basic public relations and event planning proficiency
  • Ability to develop self-generated lead resources (90% of production)
  • Ability to convert general interest to a lead, and a lead to a sale
  • Convert general interest for PCPs, dentists, senior centers into opportunities
  • Ability to expand sales efforts across multiple products as appropriate
  • Ability to develop a territory and manage contact interaction and records
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage own schedule
  • Knowledge of territory marketing strategy and Value Proposition
  • Adherence to CMS Medicare Marketing Guidelines

This role requires regular travel to client and cus tomer sites and you must be fully vaccinated against COVID - 19 or undergo testing . You will be required t o self - test (test will be provided to you) and you must obtain a negative result twice weekly, beginni ng the week before you plan to travel or attend in - person meetings.
