Summary

The Marketing Project Coordinator will be responsible for managing projects and trafficking assets for the Marketing department and Blue Jackets organization. Responsibilities will be focused on activities that ensure all project requests are properly assigned and managed to deliver customer service and on-time delivery for business purposes. The Marketing Project Coordinator reports directly to the Director of Marketing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Manage company-wide project management system - Wrike. (Ensuring all requests are filled out appropriately and delegated to the correct department.)
  • Monitor and traffic all marketing inventory through multiple sources: in-game inventory, CBJ.com, TV/radio, YouTube, and other external advertising assets
  • Manage brand assets (logos, images, wordmarks) with external partners and vendors, league contacts, etc.
  • Assist with triage and assignment of projects based on known workload and expertise of in-house design team.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all requested projects are completed within established timelines.
  • Plan, coordinate and prepare all live announcer read drop-ins and in-arena announcements including the creation of scripts and associated graphics.
  • Coordinates the development and production of sales and marketing collateral materials.
  • Work with the Director of Marketing to ensure organizational adherence to established standards and guidelines related to use of the official team marks and approved style guide and design standards.
  • Work closely with the Digital Marketing department on e-marketing initiatives including website and social media creative needs and online promotions.
  • Interface with a variety of departments in developing and implementing sales and marketing campaigns.
  • Assists in the development and production of sales and marketing collateral materials.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelors degree from four-year college or university; minimum of 2 years of related experience and/or training in project management; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in Microsoft Office Software, Google products, Project Management programs, and Adobe Creative Cloud.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
