Performs all aspects of administrative functions of the Center including word processing, creating spreadsheets and reports, data entry/retrieval, answering and directing incoming calls, screening and responding to inquiries, providing information on policies and procedures, ordering, inventorying and tracking supplies, maintaining orderliness and efficiency of the facility, as well as promoting events and facility programs through the Center's web site and social media. Acquires knowledge of all Center partners and programs, both internal and external in order to direct Career Center customers to appropriate resources.
Greets and acts as liaison between Center visitors, staff, and partners. Acts as the on-site initial point of contact for staff, partners, program participants, vendors and visitors and serves as liaison between the Center and Department of Development management. Assists in maintaining Career Center schedules and shared calendar activities including coordinating room reservations, usage and arrangement, and technology setup for training, meetings, workshops and events.
