AppleOne is looking for several Case Managers to work a government project in Tallahassee for 6-9 months. Pay rate depends on experience and is $26-28 an hour. The job will be on- site, NOT work from home.

Position Summary: The objective of the Case Manager is to provide case management services to an assigned caseload of low- and moderate-income applicants seeking rental and utility assistance in the wake of the COVID-19 Pandemic. The Case Manager will process client applications for assistance and serve as the client's the primary representative for the Program. The Case Manager will review intake forms to determine client's eligibility for program benefits, make recommendations for award, generate agreements for execution, and, if required, perform income verification to fulfill funding requirements.
Additionally, the Case Manager, serving as primary point of contact, is expected to provide technical assistance to clients to assist with the completion of required program forms and other documents. The Case Manager is responsible for ensuring any services provided to the client are documented and organizing documents in program tracking systems. This is a production-based program, so clearing assigned caseloads through queues is an essential job function and success in the position will be evaluated accordingly.

Partnering with client and working effectively as part of a team to provide expert case management services for rental and utility assistance federally funded programs. Specific duties may include:
•Provide one-on-one conversations with clients to complete intake forms and applications to assess unmet needs and explain program benefits.
•Lead efforts to compile applicant information, including assistance with eligibility and income documentation, and submit applications for assistance.
•Follow up with client to ensure documentation requirements are met and client is moving forward in program to meet programmatic objectives.
•Coordinate with applicant's landlords and utility providers to process direct payments.
•Collect, compile, report and maintain necessary data in program tracking systems for statistics and reporting.
•Prepare client files for closeout once benefits have been provided.
•Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Competencies:
•Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
•Strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
•Previous case management experience on a federally funded program a plus.
•Demonstrated Customer Service expertise
•Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing
•Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
•Experience working with landlords, utility providers, or on programs that provide financial assistance to low-income applicants.

Required Education and Experience:
•Bachelor's degree with demonstrated Case Management experience with a focus on programs that provide financial assistance to low-income applicants, or;
•At least 2+ years of relevant experience in any social services field or other relevant field
•Proficient in MS Office Suite
•Experience Salesforce or other applications and case management portals a plus
