About the Job

Due to continued success and growth of our talented Application Development team, we are now looking to add a talented and experienced .NET Developer to join the business and participate in global projects.

You will play a leading role in extending the existing toolset, processes and framework used by the Application Development Team

Key Responsibilities

• You will take a leading role, demonstrating strong previous software engineering experience, while maintaining a technical overview of your projects.
• You will provide guidance to more junior members of the team.
• You will find solutions for technical challenges. You oversee and participate in the configuration and integration of commercial off-the-shelf solutions
• You will mainly work on back-end applications that drive workflow, services and communications supporting our business users and clients.
• You scout the market on recent trends in application development and introduce them to the team.
• You take the lead in proposing and developing processes, toolset and framework to optimize efficiency of the AD team.
• You develop strong working relationships with local/global business users to ensure their requirements are being met.
• You will work as part of a global team.

About you

• You have a good knowledge of written and spoken English..
• You have 5 or more years of experience in .NET development
• You are able to convert functional analysis into technical design and estimates.
• You are able to assist our architects in Solution Design

Essential Technical Requirements

• Object Oriented Development in .NET and MS SQL using Visual Studio
• Previous experience with Agile methodologies (DSDM, SAFE, SCRUM,...) is an asset.
• Previous experience with Test Driven Development, Dependency Injection and ORM frameworks is an asset.
• Experience with Enterprise Library, NuGet or WCF is an asset.
• Experience with ALM/DevOps tooling is an asset.
• Experience with Salesforce is an advantage.
• Taking part in interest groups on any aspect of application development is a plus.
• You have strong motivational and convincing skills
• You have a client oriented, creative and inventive mindset.
