Manages the Cigna Medicare Onboarding Workstream.
Supervises the team responsible for the onboarding intake and prepping the applications to send to Credentialing. This includes training, developing and all applicable managerial tasks.
Partners with Cigna Medicare and Credentialing leadership in the resolution of issues and escalations.
Coordinates with Credentialing and eTQS IT to utilize technology in identifying providers in good standing and auto-batching.
Works with internal leadership and Capacity to support the fluctuating volumes received throughout the year.
Coordinates with Reporting partners for new or maintenance of existing reports.
Provides the Cigna Medicare contacts training regarding the process and the tool that should be utilized. Works with them to identify process improvement opportunities.
Bachelor degree or higher strongly preferred or applicable experience
1+ years of supervisory experience required
2+ years of customer service experience
Able to multi-task and handle multiple priorities
Strong ability to drive for results
Experience researching and resolving issues for the customer
Strong verbal and written communication skills required
Healthcare experience a plus
